My teacher is really really ridiculously good-looking
So... what's the most polite way of asking, "Hey, I was wondering if I could take a picture of you in order to show my friends how hot you are?" I can't think of anything that doesn't come off as stalkerish, so any input would be appreciated.
Did I learn anything in class? Yes I did. I learned that in order to maximize the aesthetic appreciation of said teacher, I should probably not sit next to him (I was expecting an erudite grandpa... how was I supposed to know that he'd be really really ridiculously good-looking?) but rather sit across the room so that I could fully absorb his aura of beauty and intelligence without having to strain my neck.
Anyway, something made me really sad last night. My classmate and I were walking to the subway, and this girl with an Eastern European accent asked us to point her in the direction of TGIFriday's. The worst part? We were right in front of Dos Caminos (so yummy, albeit overpriced). We told her to go to Times Square, but I felt like I was doing her a grave disservice. Is TGIFriday's listed in guidebooks as great American cuisine or something? That's like when I met these two out-of-towners who had spent a ton of money shopping (out of all the places in the city) at Manhattan Mall.
:-(

that makes me sad too. :( Manhattan Mall and TGI Fridays!! I can't think of worse places to go. Even Bubba Gump Shrimp would have been a better choice. Man. Someone needs to update those tour guide books. And I want a picture of your teacher, stat.
Anny I've totally been in the wanting to take pictures of attractive people but not knowing how situation. All I have to say is keep your camera on you and wait for the right moment. Something deemed 'normal' to photograph will occur and you can get him in the shot. Why do I know this?
